Title: Dynamix: Super Highway (Moving Jigsaw Puzzle)
Manufacturer: Synamix Moving Jigsaw Puzzle
Number of pieces: 250
This Dynamix jigsaw puzzle was only 250 pieces but it is one of the most interesting ones I have ever put together. It took a little less than 3 hours to do.
It was challenging because the images change and move depending upon the angle you are viewing them from! I posted a lot of pictures to try to show how the images change–the cars and biker look like they are moving across the scene.
All of the pieces except for the border are the same shape. The puzzle is very interlocking and can be picked up by the edge. From a certain angle most pieces looked gray.
Definitely a keeper. Oh–and there was one extra piece.
Manufacturer: Mega Puzzles
Number of pieces: 1000
Note: can’t tell you the number of times I wanted to give up and put back in the box so glad I didn’t. The hardest part was the green and yellow at the bottom. Love Vibrant puzzles for yes they are Vibrant!!!
Tròn Tròn Xinh Xinh
Name: Persian White
Artist: Braldt Bralds
Size: 22 “x 22” (55.9 x 55.9 cm)
Brand: Great American Puzzle Factory (USA)
A few things about this: I bought it from a man who sold the old tetris. Although the old, but when I open the box, so I can see that it seems no one sort this whole, because the box was full of dust, a couple of pieces of paper and stuck together (no cracks). And that’s more like it.
This, but a lot of dust, but all the pieces to be involved with each other in a perfect way, that can take raw picture (see details inside).
This one out of two eyes and nose out so their piece of the rest of the colors are pretty much alike should be pretty hard to fix it.
But there’s only 750 pieces of pieces but it’s not the same, the harder it is to sort more than that.
Titled Snowman’s Delight
This was such a fun and fast jigsaw puzzle. I found with this much colour that it was not too challenging. The pieces did fit snug for the odd cut shapes that are typical Springbok. Overall – I loved it because it is a Coke theme which I own a few of that theme and the artwork certainly was delightful for sure.
He Looked Like A Peddler
Artist: Ruth Sanderson
This was such a pleasure to receive from my puzzle-penpal from overseas. I have wanted a Wentworth Wooden puzzle since they were introduced into the jigsaw puzzle Groups so it was the best surprise ever to see it arrive at my door. The wooden whimsies are so cute that I only want to play with them and the wooden pieces were extremely nice to handle compared to regular jigsaw puzzles. I am extremely happy with the image theme to add to my favorite Christmas collection.
The Toy Factory
2005 Y. Kanda
This puzzle really caught my attention when I first saw it last year. I immediately had to buy it. I enjoyed putting it together and I will enjoy looking at it on the wall during this Christmas season and many more to come. – See more at: http://www.jigsawpuzzleconnections.com/christmas-jigsaw-puzzles/

Larry Blanck – Strange puzzle alert. This was my first “Impossibles” which turned out to be quite the opposite. Really wasn’t difficult at all even with it being borderless and having extra pieces.
Whoo hoo lovely little puzzle was such a challenge acted and took as long as most 1000 piece puzzles. Took almost 11 hours. Great quality and challenge. Excat same Pattern repeats x 4 so busy so distracting sooooo much fun
Thư house- Tranh ghép hình

My first Thomas Kinkade puzzle.
This is tin box puzzle. The pieces fit perfectly. Not colorful but fun to do.

Great American Puzzle Factory
John Deere Country Chores
Finish this couple days ago. It’s made by Great American Puzzle Factory, 1000 pieces. The quality is excellent and thick pieces that holds together. John Deere Country Chores. Wasn’t as easy as it looks or maybe it was just me. Sadly one piece is missing for I purchased it at a Goodwill Store for 99 cents. Purchased another John Deere the same time it’s still in the wrapping.
Autumn Evening by Terry Redlin
1,000 piece puzzle
This puzzle was a fast moving easy to work puzzle despite its dark brown and green colors. White Mountain makes a nice puzzle with thick pieces and traditional shapes. The only complaint I have is that the picture was separating from the cardboard backing on several pieces causing a curling of the paper.
Manufacturer: Springbok by Hallmark
Number of pieces: 500
Nice easy puzzle. Thought it would be a little hard but was not. Took about three half days.
I can see why puzzle people are very particular about the brand. Springbok is thick, fully interlocking . You even have to be careful when taking apart for they fit well. One thing I can say is that I’ve learned a lot about puzzles by being in these groups. At first I thought a puzzle is a puzzle but I can now say that’s not so. I find myself looking for a certain brand even though I may purchase other kinds. So I say thanks group for the lessons I’ve learned.
Title: Memory Junction
Artist: Ken Zylla
Manufacturer: Karmin International
Number of pieces: 1000
Source: Goodwill Store for 59 cents
Note: this was my longest yet. The top went smoothly but when I got to the train and railroad what can I say but I had problems. Finished and all pieces are here. Cassia Lancaster know your son would not have taken as long for I believe he’s good at jigsawing like his MOM!! Yet this was fun and started to give up often. Yeah glad I didn’t.
Finished. Good grief this was challenging for me. I found it Difficult. I started this 12 days ago. I’ve Been doing a bit each day. It took me Several hours I know that much. I was convinced a piece was missing. The great thing is it is complete. All the pieces are there. And I bought this from a thrift store. I am on to do another from my stack. Something easier.
My most recent puzzle we just completed this afternoon. Above the Clouds Glitter Shimmerfoil, 1000 piece by Lafayette Puzzle Factory. Wowzer this one pushed my limits but one piece at a time. I’d probably say this was hard, at least for me. Lighting was key but not direct or it would sparkle too much.
Guernica by Pablo Picasso
Completed the Guernica jigsaw puzzle today. It is a 2000 pcs Ravensburger that I bought in a Toys’R’us store in Murcia (Spain). The lines/columns layout is 30×68, so the real number of pieces is 2040. The fitting quality was good, as always in Ravensburger. The puzzle itself was not an easy one, because of being black and white. But it was not as extremely difficult as I feared it to be before the start. The strategy was, obviously, sorting by tones, and trying to build characters one by one. Please see some progress pictures.
Guernica is a painting by Pablo Picasso. It was painted in Paris, France, in 1937. It is supposed to depict the destruction of the spanish northern city of Guernica by german and italian warplanes during the spanish civil war, earlier that same year; but Picasso removed all specific references to the particular incident, so the painting has become one of the best known, even maybe the ultimate artistic declaration against the brutality of war. It has also being described as “the success of modern art”, as it was “the first piece of modern art that everybody understood without the need of an expert explaining it”.
Guernica is a very big painting (776×349 cm, some 25×11 feet). After being exhibited in Paris, it toured several cities in Europe and the US. It finally came to be permanently exhibited at the MOMA in New York, as Picasso expressly refused to allow it to be brought to Spain until the end of the Franco dictatorship. The painting finally arrived to Spain in 1981, after democracy was established by the 1978 constitution. It is obviously a painting with a very strong political meaning. Nowadays it can be seen at the Reina Sofia museum in Madrid, Spain.
Title: Quails Roost
Artist: Charles Wysocki
Number of pieces: 1000
Size: 22 9/32″x25 9/16″
Source: Puzzle Gold
Note: this is the puzzle that took me forever to do. The bottom went super fast but when I got to the sky it was killing me. Too dark but I started to give up many times but glad I didn’t.
Title: Carmel Firehouse
Manufacturer: Hometown Collection
No. of pieces: 1,000
Note: not as easy as it looks with the stone walk but I enjoyed doing it and all pieces were there.
Spring Garden Flowers,
2 in 1
Spring garden flowers, 240 piece, 2 in 1 puzzle from dollar tree. My first itty bitty from dollar tree. There was a little work in separating pieces but it was pretty fun. The pieces fit quite nicely for a dollar puzzle.
This one was tricky…the difficult areas were the white sticks and the orange so once I eliminated those and the larger pink coloured areas, I slowly picked away at the multiple coloured area and left the yellow/orange areas for last….I am quite certain it would be far funner to eat it than do it again!!!
Title: just says shaped puzzle
Artist: Mary Thompson
Manufacturers: Bits And Pieces
Number of pieces: 750
Note: love love love this puzzle very easy and I love that it has different sizes and shapes. Took me about five days but these were nowhere complete days. Down fault pieces did not stay together well but yes I would get another one. The best part it was free for it was given to me!
White Mountain Puzzles,
Very enjoyable but a little tough especially the middle section. Yes, it survived my cats Lucy and Rikki.
Well it was the Sea Turtles themselves that were the trickiest part of this puzzle…I thought the blue was going to bite me but that didn’t happen….went pretty good but not my most favorite topic for a puzzle image. Time to move up to a 500 piece!!!
While I am still on my ‘quick-fix’ jigsaw puzzle gig (because all my big-beauties are packed for an upcoming move) this one was very very quick and easy, yet enough colour blends to keep it interesting….one flaw….2 extra pieces??? What’s up with that? At first I thought I was going to be “that Guy” with the missing 2 pieces but I guess the puzzle energies were on my side and gave me the 2 extra pieces…you know…maybe cause I’m special or my name is Linda….ahahahaha!!!
Blue By You,
This puzzle was very easy and relaxing to do. I enjoyed the beautiful china and different shades of blue. The pieces fitted together without any effort and I completed it in two days.
English Village Cottage,
Here’s my quick-fix puzzle for yesterday….another Puzzlebug (yes still on them until after I move) 240 pieces titled English Village Cottage…..fun and colourful and looks really nice too
This was another one that I thought would be tricky but it went together pretty smoothly and I enjoyed seeing it come together quickly before my eyes….I’ll be sending this on to my sister who has limited puzzle space to work with so these little quick-fix puzzles are perfect for that!!!
by W.H. Smith,
My latest puzzle. 1000 pieces, entitled ‘Varenna Vista’ (Varenna is apparently on Lake Como in Italy) and it’s by W.H. Smith. It was straightforward and easy to do apart from the tree in the top righthand corner!
Pop Art Series Collector,
Puzzle, 500 pieces
I loved doing this puzzle, the colours were amazing and the image beautiful. If your a Monroe fan I recommend this puzzle and it would look fabulous framed as well.
1000 Pieces sold by Jacarou Puzzles
OMG Anie Maltais you ROCK. The several times I have seen this puzzle it was groovy and one I wanted to do but not my favorite of your original 5 just to much pink for me ( that would egg one which I own) or at least that is what I thought. NOW. one word . MINE!!! also I was so wrong about the pink. There is so much color to this puzzle. Your color depth and shading is phenomenal. Congratulations. I am definitely a fan. Everyone should try this at least once just awesome.
This secondhand vintage puzzle is dated 1974 featuring black & white stills in a collage format. This puzzle was very difficult due to having only black, white & grey pieces but I enjoyed the challenge.
Colourful Wooden Carousel,
The pieces just seem to FALL into place with this one and I thought it was going to be a bit more challenging but that’s ok – made for a real quickie jigsaw puzzle fix!!!!
Friendly Neighbours III,
I finished off this little Puzzlebug titled Friendly Neighbours III just to get a quick puzzle fix…..it was really fun and fast to complete too.
Title: Cactus Wolf
Artist: Mary Masters
# of pieces: 500
Note: Two days to finish(yeah) super easy and fully interlocking not like the other one. Really fun to do. Only one thing wrong but not due to SunsOuts. The lady that gave this had taped some of the edges together n I did not like this. Why mess a good puzzle up? Very fun to do.

Desert Oak at Sunset
by Mark Gray,
Schmidt published six Mark Gray’s panorama nature scenery puzzles in 2013 (and three new ones this year), and this was the forth one I had done.
Someone may claim that the sky would be very hard, but with the large variety of cutting shape, the procedure of the sky was not so hard as you might imagine.
The photo was taken using the morning light in my room before I went to work, It was much more colorful then under the human-made lights.
Truly, nature pictures need nature light. 🙂
1000 Pieces, Wisteria and Bluebells – Brand N/A
This 1000 piece puzzle showing wisteria and bluebells was quite tricky and took me a while to do. Not great quality, thin pieces that didn’t fit well, but a nice challenge. No make on it that I can see, which is odd.
July 13, 2012
This puzzle was very enjoyable and the colours and nature scene wonderful. My only complaint was the puzzle didn’t transport from table to table very well, with pieces coming apart. On the box the Manufacturer states that the puzzle is made with non toxic ink and on recycled cardboard.
First Hallmark puzzle for me. Very nice quality. I found this one at Half Price Books for $5
Title: Tea for Two
Artist: Lori Schory
Number of pieces: 1,000
Size: tea pot 26″by 33″ Cups 8.5″ by 11″
Yes I finally finished and it took nearly two weeks. I found this one to be very hard. The quality of this one I was not too fond of even though the pieces were somewhat thick they did not hold together very well. The backing was tearing off n I had to tear off so they would be even with the rest of the puzzle and lay flat. Not all was like this. Anyway fun fun fun. Hope I’m not giving too much information.
I have been a collector of the Sweet Shoppe Collection! They not only make me hungry but they make me happy that’s why I frame them for everyone to feel the same effect! 🙂
Jacarou Puzzles – Framed Eggs, 1000 Pieces
Anie Maltais of Jacarou Jigsaw Puzzles is a jigsaw puzzle designer producing her very own style-line of jigsaw puzzles. I had the opportunity to be one of the first to receive a demo. The puzzle is manufactured in a very high quality board, fit very nicely together and the artwork/design of the puzzle is fun and entertaining. I never really felt stuck but enjoyed the different areas of details. It made the puzzle be at an intermediate level yet was drawing me to complete more – I have to admit – it was hard to walk away from this one uncompleted!
Jacarou Puzzles – Flower Power, 1000 Pieces
Anie Maltais of Jacarou Jigsaw Puzzles is a jigsaw puzzle designer producing her very own style-line of jigsaw puzzles. I purchased a second puzzle from Anie because I really like the retro style of this image. It has the same good quality to it with just a bit of hindrence putting some of the darker colours together – but heck, it’s supposed to be that way right???? One thing I know for sure…..the well designed boxes do not provide the awesome puzzle image once it is completed……extremely well done Anie.
Peace and Harmony
What can I say – it’s a Ravensburger Premium puzzle with softclick Technology. A bit pricey but this was purchased as a gift to be completed by me and framed. The quality of course is exceptional and a real pleasure to work with. Thick pieces, solid connections and very little puzzle dust. It is the image topic that attracted me to this jigsaw puzzle as my daughter is is Therapist and this fits very nicely into her lifestyle. I thoroughly enjoyed with one.
This was actually easier than I thought because of the colours and the lines. I enjoy these smaller 500 piece puzzles as a quick-puzzle-fix and the price at the Dollar Tree is $1.25. But that also means lower end quality. However I will not be keeping this puzzle in my collection. Puzzle measures; 18.25×11 inches (46cmx28cm)
